Food is bought from NM Roadrunner Food Bank then distributed to families in the South east area of Albuquerque on the first Tuesday of each month. Volunteers from CUMC and EA Contractors off-load a semi truck with 5/6 pallets of frozen items, canned goods, bread, and assorted vegetables. All items very from month to month.

Outreach to Albuquerque Police Department

Southeast Substation

Felt just like Thanksgiving with the snow this morning as APD Chaplains host a dinner all day for all APD personnel across the city. Many thanks to The Wild’s family, Mary Cook, Rich and Susan Davies, Susan Ideus, and Maryann Harrison for your help today! — at Albuquerque Police Dept-Southeast.

Reading Power

We are also continuing to support both Whittier Elementary School and Emerson Elementary School by giving Free Books to students.  Each year we hold a Free Book distribution at these schools so students can pick out books to keep as their own.

Emerson Support

Our Mission Committee delivered 30 tubs to teachers at Emerson Elementary School.  Each tub was filled with: 4 boxes of Kleenex, 4 bottles of hand sanitizer, 3 containers of wipes, an electric pencil sharpener, and 4 boxes of number 2 pencils.

We have elected to partner with Wilson Middle School and are excited to be able to support the Wilson MS Wildcats!

Help for Wilson MS
Did you know that both Kathy Salazar and Jessica Ward are both on staff at Wilson MS? Christ UMC has been extremely generous to Wilson and there are ongoing needs at the school.  Many students often come to school having not eaten break￾fast and because of that, we are still collecting granola bars and snack packs, such as fruit snacks, animal crackers, etcetera. Leave items in the collection bin in the Narthex and Jess will get them to Wilson. Thanks in advance for your help.
